Hummus

  • 2 cans garbanzo beans (canned)
  • 1/4 cup liquid from the can
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • 3 small (or 1-2 big) garlic cloves, grated/smashed
  • 1/4 cup evoo
  • 1 tbs. chili powder
  • sprinkle of cayanne pepper
  • a few dashes of hot sauce
  • salt and pepper to taste

This makes a ton! But, if you are like me – it goes quickly. I would guess it makes about 24 oz of the yummy hummy.
