- 5-6 carrots, sliced
- 1 tbs. butter
- 1 tbs. brown sugar
- juice and zest of 1 lemon
Add butter to the saucepan on medium/high heat. When butter is melted, add the carrots, and cook until just tender (about 10 minutes). Just before they reach the tenderness you desire – add the brown sugar and the lemon juice and zest. These make for a fab snack, side dish, or – if you eat them all yourself – a nice little dinner.
